Michael Winner – RIP (1935-2013). Personally we think he made some outstanding movies – mostly between 1965 – 1977. Amongst his best works are THE JOKERS, HANNIBAL BROOKS, the classic THE MECHANIC, THE STONE KILLER, the first (and best) DEATH WISH and the often derided THE SENTINEL. Quite an amazing body of work.
