BOOBS & BLOOD Woman of the Year: CHRISTINE NGUYEN

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so once again the BOOBS & BLOOD International Film Festival came to North Hollywood on Saturday Oct. 5, for a full action-packed day of Women in Horror, All-Women Judges, cult movies, live music and fundraising for the KEEP A BREAST FOUNDATION.

In the evening a red carpet gala Honored the Queen of B-Movies, the great CHRISTINE NGUYEN as this year’s “Woman of the Year.” Christine has had and continues to have an exceptionally long and successful career in the exploitation film business, working on both A-list TV series (Dexter, CSI) and with cult feature directors such as Gregg Araki, Fred Olen Ray and Jim Wynorsk.

As Christine said, “Words can’t do justice to how much this honor means to me. I’ve been so looking forward to sharing this special moment with all of you. And to those who have been with me during this wild ride in the entertainment industry.”
